1. Life on Mars Trail (Short Scenic Section or the Full Hiking version)
Easy mode just for the views: you don’t need to hike the full trail if you are looking for a more relaxed version. To see the „main“ part of the trail, start from Ručica beach (where you can get by car/taxi) and walk 25–40 minutes to get above or right at the famous Beritnica beach.
All info on the trail: https://www.lifeonmarstrail.hr/en/locations/
Avoid midday — there is no shade.

2. Pag Bridge + Ruins of Ancient Fortress Fortica
At the southern entrance to the island lies the famous Pag Bridge — dramatic cliffs, strong bura wind and panoramic views. Right beneath it sits Fortica, a medieval fortress ruin with open views over the sea channel.
3. Taste Real Pag Cheese in Kolan
Kolan is the heart of the famous Pag cheese production. Pag sheep graze on windswept herbs coated in sea salt, giving the cheese its famous sharp, herbal flavor. Visit a dairy, taste multiple aging stages and learn how cheese is made here.
If you’re here in late summer: Don’t miss Fešta od sira — the annual cheese festival held on the last Friday of August in Kolan!

4. Explore the Lunar Landscapes of Metajna
The stone slopes around Metajna look like another planet: white rock, deep blue sea and wide open space. Walk the coastal path between beach Ručica and Metajna (no full hike needed) to experience Pag’s iconic “moon” landscape. The path is made of concrete so it's easily accessible and walkable even with kids, bikes etc.

5. Lun Olive Gardens: Walk Among Ancient Olive Trees
At the northern tip of the island lies Lun, home to one of the oldest olive groves in the Mediterranean. Many of the trees here are over 1,000 years old and protected as a botanical reserve. The landscape is quiet, open and deeply calming.
Local Tip: Go an hour before sunset for the best light.
6. Dinner or Tasting Menu at Boškinac (Michelin Star)
Just above Stara Novalja sits Boškinac – a famous boutique winery and Michelin-starred restaurant. The tasting menus reinterpret Pag’s landscape through lamb, wild herbs, olive oil, sea plants and seasonal produce.
Reserve early — they tend to be pretty booked in the high season. And when you're making a reservation, you need to state cleary whether you want a table in the fine dining or tavern area – the menu and prices differ!

7. Slow Evening in Novalja (Riva + St. Catherine's Church)
After the day’s heat, Novalja city center gets busy. Walk the seafront promenade, get a drink by the sea and visit the old town and St. Catherine’s Church — one of the oldest structures in Novalja.
8. Salt Pans & Cultural Walk Through Pag Town
Explore the historic core of Pag town: white stone squares, lace workshops and the story of salt production that shaped the island.

9. Zrće Beach: Music Festivals, Pool Parties and Adrenaline activities
Zrće is the center of Pag’s summer festival scene — international DJs, beach clubs, pool parties, and night events under the open sky. But don't miss out on all types of adrenaline activities including jet skiing, bungee jumping, Aquapark trampolines, Ice bar, tattoo stalls, cafe bars, restaurants, chill out zones and many more!
Opening time: Late May – mid September.
